HOW LONG IS WINDOW PERIOD INSTI AUTO HIV TEST
The test uses simple continuous flow technology to detect HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies using a drop of human blood taken from the finger and placed on a stick. The test does not detect the virus itself. The result will be visible only if HIV antibodies are present. INSTI® Auto Test HIV is simple to perform and will only work properly if you carefully read and follow the instructions.
You can have a reactive result with INSTI® Auto Test HIV in 21-22 days after infection, however, it can take up to 3 months to have a reactive result.
A negative result cannot be considered as such until 3 months after infection.
