Rapid result for presence of occult human blood in stool

For fecal specimen collection: The fecal specimen should be collected through the specimen collector. Please use the stool collector inside a bath to avoid contamination with any chemical agent and prevent adulteration of the sample.

To examine fecal samples: Open the cap of the sample collection tube, then randomly stick the sample collection applicator into the fecal sample in at least 3 places. Do not lift the fecal sample. Secure the cap on the sample collection tube, then shake the tube vigorously to mix the sample and extraction buffer.

Bring the package to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test stand from the package and use it as soon as possible. Better results will be obtained if the test is performed immediately after the package is opened.

Hold the sample collection tube upright and open the cap. Turn the tube upside down and transfer 2 full drops of the extracted sample (about 80 μL) into the sample well (S) of the holder.

Read the results after 5 minutes. Do not read the results after 10 minutes have passed.
