How to use

  • Nasal swab specimen: Take out the sterile swab provided. Tilt the head backward to the 70° angle. Gently insert the swab into the nostril showing the most secretion. Gently push the pad until resistance is achieved at the level of the turbinate. Rotate the swab against the nasal wall a few times.

  • Pharyngeal swab specimen: Take out the sterile swab provided. Open the mouth pull the tongue out, press the tongue down with a spoon if necessary. Rub the swab over both tonsillar surfaces and the posterior pharynx. Avoid touching the tongue, cheeks and teeth.

  • Using the same swab, repeat the operation in the other nostril.

  • Place the swab in the extraction tube, making sure it touches the bottom and rotate it to mix well. Press the tip of the swab to the walls of the tube and rotate it for 10-15 seconds.

  • Extract the swab by pressing the end inside the extraction tube.

  • Close the cap or insert the tip of the test tube.

  • Take the test cassette out of the sealed package and use it within one hour. The best results are obtained if the test is performed immediately after opening the sealed package.

  • Place the test cassette on a flat, dry surface.

  • Turn over the sample extraction tube and pour 3 drops of extracted sample into each sample well (S) on the cassette.

  • Read the results after 10 minutes. Do not read the results after more than 20 minutes.
