It is recommended to take a urine sample for testing early in the morning since it is the most concentrated. Urine used for testing should not come in contact with toilet water or any disinfectant or cleaning product. Women should not perform this test during or within three days after their menstrual cycle. The urine sample should not be contaminated with vaginal fluids as the test may produce misleading results. Whatever the result, consult your primary care physician.

Urine collection: Collect some of the urine in the plastic container provided or use a clean container without detergent residue.

Open the sealed package and take out the test strip. Do not touch the test fields. Once the package is opened, it is recommended to perform the test immediately.

Dip the test strip into the urine sample. Check that all four test fields are immersed for at least 1 to 2 seconds.

Remove the test strip and remove excess urine by wiping it over the edge of the container or using absorbent material (e.g., a paper towel) to avoid mixing chemicals from nearby areas. Wait 2 minutes (do not read the results after 3 minutes).

Read the results separately for each parameter, compare the color with the table in the operating instructions. Color changes on the edges of the test pads or over 3 minutes should be ignored.
